Established in 2005, Demetria Estate is a family owned winery. Our goal is to produce wines of distinction and character rivaling those of the world’s greatest estates. Our wines showcase the unique growing conditions of the Santa Ynez Valley and the Sta. Rita Hills. We believe that low yields, sustainable and biodynamic farming practices, and gentle winemaking produce wines of exceptional quality.
Our vineyards are ideally situated to express the diversity and strength of Santa Barbara County. We produce pinot noir and chardonnay from the cool, windswept climate of the Sta. Rita Hills, and Rhone varietals from the steep, high elevation Demetria Estate property in the Santa Ynez Valley. From biodynamic agriculture in the vineyard to gravity flow in the winery, we are uncompromising in the pursuit of our passion: wine.
