Created in 2005, Alta Maria Vineyards is a partnership based upon the cumulative careers of two individuals who became veterans in their fields at a young age – one a viticulturist and one a winemaker. Their shared affinity for all things homespun and honest reflect the unflappable authenticity of Santa Barbara County. They came together after long being apart to make wines that have been waiting for them all along. They continue on this path today to exemplify the greatest attributes of our region’s history, our climate, our varieties and our wines.
