Job Description:
We are a small team, and we appreciate other hardworking & passionate individuals who aren’t afraid to sweat and get dirty. Not only will you help with all things Winemaking but you will help with all aspects of our Winegrowing process. We are looking for someone to join us for the upcoming 2023 Harvest (August – December).
Responsibilities:
Cleaning/Sanitizing winery equipment and facility
Sampling: vineyard, juice, and wine sampling for the lab
Crush pad operations: grape receival and processing
Fermentation management: Inoculations, measuring Brix, Temperature, Cap management
Other duties as they may be assigned along the way
Requirements:
Previous Harvest experience is desired
Effective communication and time management skills
Detail-oriented with strong motivation and organization
The ability to wake up early and work long flexible hours + weekends
The ability to lift 50+ pounds and do PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORK
Must be able to commit to working mid-August through December
