Title: Tasting Room Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Total Compensation Range: $52k-60k Total Compensation Range
Purpose:
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Longoria Tasting Room in Lompoc, CA, assisting with Wine Club administration, and the enhancement of the overall guest experience. Opportunities will also emerge in a new downtown facility in late 2022.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enact the vision and strategy for the complete guest experience
• Execute these strategies to deliver consistent financial growth and results
• Help manage and balance the Longoria budget with DTC marketing management
•Create programs and events at the tasting room and other properties to attract the right consumers, deliver exceptional experiences, and drive
• Create and manage outreach program to develop and leverage partner relationships to increase brand awareness and sales
• Liaise with marketing and PR teams to ensure all programs work toward common winery/brand goals and objectives
Sales & Revenue Management:
• Assist DTC management with planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the tasting room
• Ensure accuracy of all tasting room transactions
•Provide support and training to additional TR hires
• Design systems and processes to ensure efficient, effective, and consistent business operations

Requirements:
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 4-year college degree preferred, business management or hospitality
• 2-4 years of work experience in the wine industry, specifically hospitality or luxury retail experience with an emphasis on sales and customer service
• Highly proficient with Windows PCs and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to learn and use Commerce7 for order entry, sales reports, SKU pricing, and familiarity with AMS is a plus
• Exceptional verbal and written skills
• Positive attitude and dynamic personality
• Employee may be required to stand or sit for periods of up to 4 hours at a time
• Employee is required to lift case boxes weighing between 30-40 lbs
• Ability to work to support a seven days a week business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
