Farmed, produced, and bottled on the historic Rancho Santa Ynez, Carhartt Family Wines is rooted in three generations of ranching and a deep respect for the land. Mike and Brooke Carhartt planted the first vines on the ranch in 1996, and today their son, Chase, continues the tradition—growing grapes and crafting wines entirely on site.
We focus on small-batch, estate-driven wines, producing around 7,000 cases across roughly 25 unique bottlings each year. Our releases are offered exclusively through our Los Olivos tasting room, wine club, and website, with many lots made in tiny quantities for members only. At the Carhartt Cabin, guests are welcomed into an intimate, down-to-earth tasting experience where they can explore the wines and learn how our family farms and produces everything on the land we’ve lived on for more than 75 years.
