What started as backyard dinners and a shared love of wine has grown into a family-run winery rooted in Santa Barbara County. Founded by Tim and Judy Perr in 2005, Pali Wine Co. has evolved from its early days in a Lompoc garage into an estate-driven winery with coastal tasting rooms and a growing range of wines shaped by curiosity and craft. Today, the winery is guided by two generations of the Perr family—Tim and Judy alongside Nick and Carmen Perr—together with longtime winemaker Aaron Walker. At the heart of the operation is Pali Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, farmed using regenerative organic practices and planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Dornfelder, Gamay, and Syrah.
Alongside its estate wines, Pali continues to explore new expressions through several projects. The ‘Wild Series’ highlights bright, energetic wines made with native fermentations and early-picked fruit, while Rarities focuses on small-lot, limited bottlings from estate varieties and respected vineyard partners across California’s Central Coast. Through Neighborhood, the creative extension of the winery, the team experiments with carbonic macerations, pét-nats, and unexpected blends, producing fresh, easy-drinking natural wines meant to be enjoyed young.
Pali remains guided by curiosity, care, and a commitment to wines that reflect people, place, and purpose.
