Our grapes are organically grown and harvested on our farm, Rancho Boa Vista, in Ballard Canyon, AVA. We practice biodynamic farming on our vineyard, using the moon to guide our soil, water, and picking schedule. Our wine is sustainably made, with zero additions and all natural yeast. Yeah, it’s basically SUPER REAL.
In 2018 Dakota had the vision to use grapes from her family’s farm, Rancho Boa Vista, to create her Super Real natural wine brand. The Grenache Blanc grapes served as the perfect skin contact, the Grenache Noir grapes for an effervescent unfiltered rosé, and the Syrah grapes for her natural Carbonic Syrah. Dakota’s wine became a hit when she started selling it during quarantine, offering contactless pickups on her porch in Los Feliz. She works very closely with Matt Brady, the Super Real winemaker, to make each natural wine have the perfect balance and taste. Dakota also designs all the SRW labels using her paintings, under her art brand Form + Color.
