ROLE PROFILE: This position reports directly to the Director of DTC Sales and will be active in all DTC sales channels, including but not limited to direct sales programs, shipping logistics, customer communications, data entry and management, hospitality, and events. The position’s main goal is to support all logistical functions of the DTC sales channel.

 

JOB SUMMARY/ OBJECTIVE:
• Support DTC sales programs and strategies.
• Grow consumer lists, build customer relations, and promote brand loyalty.
• Oversee shipping logistics and inventory surrounding DTC shipments.
• Represent our brands to the highest standards as a brand ambassador.
• Provide exceptional hospitality, ensuring a positive guest experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
• Order and data entry.
• Manage customer email and phone correspondence.
• Maintain Point of Sale and Customer Relationship Management systems.
• Coordinate shipping and fulfillment for DTC orders.
• Assist the Director of DTC Sales and Business Development Director in the planning and execution of programs, releases, sales campaigns, and marketing.
• Support the hospitality/ tasting room team, including winery events on and off-site.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree, similar degree, or two plus years of experience in the hospitality or wine industry.
• Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems, shipping, and/or compliance.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
• Experience in office administration, customer service, and/or sales is a plus.
• Marketing or graphic design knowledge is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.
• Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

 

SCHEDULE/ LOCATION:
• Full-Time hourly position (40 hours), Monday–Friday.
• Some evenings and weekends will be required.
• Our facilities are located just south of Lompoc. This position requires working on-site. Some work from home may be allowed based on productivity.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• Compensation: Hourly + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
• The base pay for this role is $27-29 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
• Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and paid vacation after the probation period.
