Carhartt Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The original ten acre vineyard was planted in 1996 by Mike and Brooke Carhartt on the historic Rancho Santa Ynez property that has been in the family for three generations. Their first wine was produced by them in 1998 and today, with over 20 acres of vines, they make close to 6500 cases in their winery on site, including up to 26 different wines. Mike continues as the vineyard manager and farmer, while Brooke was the sole winemaker until 2012 when their son, Chase Carhartt, joined the company as co-winemaker and director of operations. Their tasting room in Los Olivos, fondly referred to as the “Carhartt Cabin,” is a renovated site of historic merit with a sizable outdoor back patio that can comfortably seat up to 75 guests. Let the family and their amazing staff welcome you for a glass or taste of wine.
