Recently, Earth Stewards partnered up with Hitachi Zosen Inova, a local anaerobic digestion facility adjacent to the San Luis Obispo Airport. This project converts food waste and green waste into methane gas to power surrounding homes and businesses and also produces a high quality soil amendment for agriculture and landscape use. Earth Stewards then distributes and delivers the soil amendment to local businesses in the greater San Luis Obispo area– creating a sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to reduce local food and green waste.
